Package LXQt for Slackware64 14.1

After 6 days ago ,7 May 2014), when LXQt is released I make a word for trying to build LXQt package for slackware. Fortunately, Eric Hameleers or Alien BOB has created his slackware package for this LXQt. Definitely fortunately, because If I try to fulfill my word, I must willing to spend my time trying and trying to configure and building the LXQt. As If I can do it now... :D

We can build the LXQt package from Alien slackbuilds. The total size of generated packages from the slackbuilds is only 7.9 MiB on my Slackware64 14.1. These are really quite small for a Desktop Environment.

I'm quite fond of this DE, I'll stick with LXQt for now.

Finally, the First release of LXQt is now available from 7 May 2014.

LXQt is the fruit from two good desktop environment, Razor-qt project and LXDE-Qt project.

Can wait to try it on my box, although there is not package for this LXQt. Maybe I should try to compile it, hmm.

Compiling PostgreSQL 9.2 Driver for Qt 5.1 on Windows XP (mingw32)

These are steps to compile PostgreSQL 9.2 for Qt 5.1 on Windows XP (with mingw32 compiler), here I assume we've install Qt 5.1 on directory "C:\Qt" and  PostgreSQL on "C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL":

1.open console Qt5.1 for Desktop from Qt 5.1 menu.
2.In the console, go to "C:\Qt\Qt5.1.0\5.1.0\Src\qtbase\src\plugins\sqldrivers\psql" by cd-ing,

cd C:\Qt\Qt5.1.0\5.1.0\Src\qtbase\src\plugins\sqldrivers\psql

3. create makefile with this command in console:

qmake "INCLUDEPATH+=\"C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\9.2\include\"" "LIBS+=\"C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\9.2\lib\libpq.lib\"" psql.pro

4. Find and change text in file "C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\9.2\include\pthread.h"

 from

to

to solve this error

5. Do make in console by typing make then enter:

make

6. Now, you can get the compiled driver from directory "C:\Qt\Qt5.1.0\5.1.0\Src\qtbase\plugins\sqldrivers"

Error Undefined reference to vtable for

Waktu saya mengkompile project di Qt Creator, muncul pesan "Undefined reference to vtable for...". Hal ini terjadi setelah saya menambahkan sebuah Class baru di project. Saja coba telusuri koding project saya satu persatu, tidak ada saya temukan kesalahan kode... Jadi bingung sampai hampir sejam lebih.

Setelah browsing di google untuk mencari solusi, ternyata masalah ini dapat diatasi dengan mudah. Hanya dengan mengeluarkan kelas yang ditambahkan tadi dari project, lalu menambahkannya kembali masalah ini dapat diatasi. Wihh... Untung saya belum sempat stress karenanya....:D
