Mochi Media

Today, 25 March 2014, I received an email from Mochi Media stating that they will shutdown their service, account, and etc. Here the email they sent me:

As you probably already know, Mochi Media is shutting down.
Before we close the doors, we wanted to make sure you have the data associated with your account. Click on the link below to start downloading your data: https://www.mochimedia.com/download_exported/ee3e083680062b448931176b5f4373b11526191d54aa5247e*****
As a reminder, Mochi Media will be completely shutting down (all services, accounts, catalog, etc.) on March 31, 2014. Be sure to log in to your account and retrieve any additional information you might need before that date.

As their user, I really feel sad for this. They have a good platform for web based games. I use their service for one of my website.

The main reason for this closing is because the flash platform they used is become 'obsolete' as many flash developers move to another platform like html5, android, and IOS. Maybe if they don't rely too much on only single platform they will be survive, or not.

Really a hard decision for Mochi Media.

One platform die, another platform will rise.

Goodbye Mochi Media, goodbye. Thank you for everything you've give us.
