Country Flags Free Icon (Copy of iso-country-flags-svg-collection)

The github account of Jakob Flierl is not found anymore where I can get a collection of country flags icon. The project called iso-country-flags-svg-collection. But fortunately I have a git copy of it. So to prevent me to accidentally erase my copy, I put it in my github project. You can go to iso-country-flags-svg-collection

This repository contains 248 country flag SVG icons. Where most of the country flag icons are licensed under the Public Domain.

Free Icon From The Noun Project

When in process developing an Android application I stumbled on some problems of icon for the application. Fortunately, I found an amazing website for icon. The amazing website is thenounproject.com.
Why I say this website is amazing? Because they offer much of icons in free. Almost every icons are licensed under Creative Common - Attribution. So we can use them in personal or commercial application, website, or anything as long as we give a proper attribution for the icon author work. Of course we can use them without an attribution if we pay for the license which is really cheap, about $1 for each icon.

Now I can go forward developing my application... :D

Today, 25 March 2014, I received an email from Mochi Media stating that they will shutdown their service, account, and etc. Here the email they sent me:

As their user, I really feel sad for this. They have a good platform for web based games. I use their service for one of my website.

The main reason for this closing is because the flash platform they used is become 'obsolete' as many flash developers move to another platform like html5, android, and IOS. Maybe if they don't rely too much on only single platform they will be survive, or not.

Really a hard decision for Mochi Media.

One platform die, another platform will rise.

Goodbye Mochi Media, goodbye. Thank you for everything you've give us.
